Reaction to the ending of book 2 "Native Son"

My reaction to the end of book 2 was really simple, weird, i felt impacient trying to know what would be happening with Bigger my expectations were that Bigger would be captured and Killed by white police all because he was the one to blame for Mary's murder. but it did not happened this way everything happened so fast and tense that it was so different to what i tought it would be happening yes he was cought and now he had no way out.! The most poignant quote in this part of the story was "he was not afraid anymore . he did not have strength enough to be." "he opened his eyes a little and saw array of faces, white and looming. kill that black ape!" This was really intense the fact that there were many police officers all around Bigger trying to trapp him the same way that he tried to trap the rat at the biggining of the story and at the end he does get trapped and he see's all this white people all around and finally arrested.

"He had his hand on the doorknob, waiting, his muscles taut. He had to be careful with his answers now." Bigger is worried that Ms. Dalton will ask him a question that he will have a wrong question to and will uncover what he had done. " y-y-yes mam," he stammered. "i-i was asleep..." " you didnt get much sleep last night, did you?" at this point Bigger was thinking hard and was worried that he would say something uncommon to what happened last night, Ms. Dalton had smelled Mary's body and she knew by the smell she was drunk, she also knew Bigger was the one in charge in picking or taking Mary home, and was probably late at night when they got home.  "He had acted too hastily and accidentally. Next time things would be much different; he would plan and arrange so that he would have money enough to keep him a long time" Biggers superego was going nuts Bigger wanted to scream out what he had done but on the other side he knew that would be wrong and that will just cause for him to go to jail. he tought that next time that he would go throught that same issue he would plan it and get something beneficial out of it.

Bigger kills Mary in Native Son

Bigger is carzy! how could he possibly do that to Mary , Bigger feared Mrs.Dalton for finfding out that he was there in Mary's room and his only way out was to shut her, to kill her without no pitty killed her. but what will happend to Bigger? How would they know what happend to Mary? after all Bigger did not want to kill her but he had to do something before she talked.
